lenovo ideapad p400 brightness control not working

However, Windows 10 tends to keep upgrading your display drivers you have to disable that (not very simple). This is still the best choice for most people. Performance when editing 4k videos and probably (light) gaming as well. Brightness control works, display to a second display by HDMI/SVGA cable works, but you won't get the best performance possible. Though their Thinkpads are good, most likely will not buy a Lenovo again, especially Ideapad. Updating drivers won't help since P400 is not supported from Lenovo for Windows 10. This will allow you to fix your brightness problem. You can switch your display adapter to Microsoft Basic Adapter. There are two things you can do, both of which I did before.ġ. update Intel HD graphic 4000 drivers to latest & also install a previous version, still stuck with dimmed display.
